I got some gunk on my lap to computer screen. I hear one is not supposed to use water. What is the best way to clean this screen? (without going to a computer store and buying a solution that I will use only a few times)

You can purchase pop-up wipes that will last a long time at Wal-mart in the electronics department. That is what I use on my LCD screen...They can be used on any electronic equipment from computers to TV's.

I think you can find some Anti-static spray at the local hardware/electrical store.

Use a lint free cloth with it. If you dunwanna get out of the house, use a piece of clean cloth, make sure it is slightly damp with luke warm water and wipe carefully.

lightly mist a paper towel with windex and wipe the screen, dont make the towel wet just get enough on it to coat the screen then wipe dry with a dry paper towel(computer is off during this process)
