make a list of things to do before you go to the bar - for example,
1. someone has to get a guy to buy the birthday girl a drink.
2. who can do the best b l o w j o b. (that is a shot, not being dirty here).
3. who can go all night without getting sick...
etc. etc.
similar to the bachelorette party lists - but 21st birthday fun.

More interesting ways to spend it? You could rent a limo or a party bus with your friends. In the end though, you're going to be throwing up and have a vague recollection of the evening, so does it really matter? Ha ha.
I spent mine at TGIF because I was the first of my friends to turn 21. Afterwords I through up for many hours. I'm not saying that's what you should do (because alcohol can be dangerous) but you asked how we celebrated ours, and that's the truth!

I went out to a good restaurant. Actually when I was 21, I lived in Wisconsin where I could get beer at 18 so 21 wasn't that big of a deal.
Why don't you try something really cool like Medieval Times restaurant and watch them joust. Or do something like take a balloon ride, or something else you have wanted to do. Or get a hotel room with a fancy spa pool. Or a trip to Vegas.

February is my birthday month, too. I celebrated by going out to eat dinner and drank Harvey Wallbangers. I never laughed so much in my life. It was a great time.
Happy birthday in 2007!

I lived in Utah when I turned 21. So i didn't drink at all, but I did go into the hot tub at my apartment complex while it was snowing, with a bunch of friends. My roommates also had a big party for me, and they bought Chinese takeout for dinner.

Happy birthday, fellow Februarian! I don't remember what I did on my 21st birthday, but I expect it snowed like it always does. That always got in the way of my plans.

I'm so old that I don't remember mine, but I took my daughter to a male strip club. We both found it boring.
