Is there anyone out there that does not agree with me that he was an example of too much power for one man to have ?? I read that 3,000 people were killed for political reasons under Pinochet, and thousands more illegally imprisoned, tortured or forced into exile

Not much. He was 1 of many brutal dictators. There were many who were worse.

The honorable El Generalissimo Augusto Pinochet was the only dictator that gave up power on his own.
Chile will probably build statues of Mao se Tung first but If we had a man equal to the Honorable General where God and Country came first. Maybe America can be saved
