mine was like Andy Griffith show. a small town where every body knew every body. it was the 1950s (dad want admit it now but i even think the sheriff bought my dad home a few times when he had a snoot full.

I can't even think of that crappy of a TV show, but the movie "Carrie" comes close, except I am not gifted with powers, and I'm also a guy not a girl, but the bipolar ***** of a mom (who was also alcoholic!) coupled with an old fashioned street gangster truck driving step dad from the 40's pretty much sums up my childhood!

Yeah, there were some very good times, but a 4:1 ratio of bad! But I'm here and living, and a survivor! I appreciate life and people more to, that's the plus side of things! :)

hmm... perhaps regulation & Order: particular victims Unit. i think of there are some episode of homestead that have adolescents traumas in them. SVU is probable the suitable one for trauma nevertheless.
