1. Dallas- started 0-4, but are starting to play like west champions again
2. Phoenix- also had a slow start, but are on a hot streak
3. Utah- biggest surprise this season, but are facing reality as they have lost a couple of games the last week
4. Lakers- who would have thought the Lakers would be this good this soon. they are playing alot of games at home, but they sure did take care of business. they have to continue to pound the ball inside and let andrew bynum flourish like the way he did at the beginning of the season
5. San Antonio- they are playing good ball this year, share the best record with Utah, but man, are they boring to watch
6. Orlando- they have also been a big surprise this year, and with the east being as weak as ever, and w/ chicago struggling, i expect them to make it to the finals

It's the Cleveland Cavaliers. They are two-deep at every position and have the best player in the NBA.

its too early to tell who the top ones will be this season... but now, it looks like San Antonio and dallas will be good, Utah, if they keep these streaks up, Detroit is lookin pretty good, and i think New Jersey, once they pick it up from the first part of the season, will step up there

whoever didn't put Phoenix on their list is retarded. 10 in a row and they have 3 All-Stars and 3 legitimate MVP caliber players.
my rankings:

1)Suns
2)Mavericks
3)Jazz
4)Spurs
5)Magic
6)Heat
7)Pistons
8)Cavaliers
9)Lakers
10)Rockets
