Okay. I'm involved with this charity. And, I need a great idea for raising some awareness for it. Something like running a marathon...and have people or businesses sponser me. Except not quite that. And, I'm talking media on a national level, so it has to be really good. Does anyone have any ideas?

Call companies! Call Coke, call Pepsi, call Dodge, call Ford, call Toyota, call Honda, call Yamaha, call General Electric, call Pacific Bell, call Yahoo!, call all companies. Ask them if they're interested in sponsoring a marathon for charity.

Before this though, you have to have a plan for this marathon. A good and organized plan. This is the way to do it. If you can't talk well, ask someone else to help you call. Have a good plan, and be ENTHUSIASTIC!

That's the way to do it. Sound professional! I've heard of kids getting sponsorships from Pepsi, yes, Pepsi, just by calling.
