I think your friends will find it mostly bad and eventually their business will be mostly bankrupt.

It's kinda cute, though I'd expect the band to be a little comical because of where the phrase comes from - it wouldn't work, for example, with a heavy metal band.
What's important is that the band likes it, because they're the ones who have to live with it.

I really liked Canadian outfit Artificial Joy Club in the late 90s. They sounded a bit like Garbage, but there was more of a dry humour in their lyrics. They only released one album "Melt" and featured a song that was played quite a bit here in Australia on alternative radio "Sick and Beautiful". Hey, any song that can put Kevorkian, Star Trek and Brad Pitt in their lyrics has got to be pretty good!
