OK seriously I have heard that a lot lately, and I don't want to sound stupid or anything, but what does EMO mean?????

I am, a child of GOD. I am a saint; in Christian-speak, this simply means that I am thus labeled a saint bc' I chose to believe in Christ Jesus, His life and His death in my stead. You are EMO:>??? Is this short for EMOtional? I dont understand this whole EMO thing, but I do know that you should not subscribe yourself unto such labeling. YOU are YOU. And if you believe in this whole EMO thing; then you will likely delve deeper and deeper into letting your emotions do your thinking for you. Be careful to learn to seperate the facts from the feelings in everyday life. As a teenager, I went thru the whole emo-like thing too. Then, when what I was "feeling" became a FAD....it made me sick. We ALL have issues, problems and circumstances that call upon us to reason; emotion can do much harm if it rules your many decisions.....

No seriously, trends are the stupidest. Don't classify yourself into anything or change yourself to be a certain way. I know young people think that they need to fit a certain image, but you shouldn't.
People with authority want you to fit into a certain group because it's easier to subject people to control that way, because people are all doing the same thing. If you join a group instead of just doing your own thing, you'll find out that you really don't have any friends, because all of your "friends" will only like you for shallow things. Not to mention the way other will treat you. Even if you don't really fit into a group, you will be judged as a member of that group if you associate yourself with it. It's tough.
