should i feel betrayed?

ok im the like non-adult-12-year-old-head (but not leader, adult is leader) of a 4-h club that visits hospitals. my friend is going to join this new copy-cat club that does nursing homes. the reason y think maybe i should feel betrayed is becuz this lady wants her son to get a 4-h skolarship so she set it up sot hat she could either a. have control over what he does to make him do it more often or b. so that he can have a head-13-year-old spot since he cant take it from me in the nursing homes club or both. should i feel betrayed?

No you shouldn't feel betrayed. I think that you are just over analyzing the situation. Just let it go, it is not worth the stress.
