spotting can be normal in the first trimester but the pains dont sound so normal esp if they are worse than period pains. I would call your dr right away to see what he suggests. CHances are hes gonna tell you to rest and take it easy for a bit. Hope everything works out ok.

I had spotting early on with both of my kids but no cramping so I'm not sure. I would go see a doctor. If you call they will tell you to come in anyway. It's better to be safe. I'd rather fell silly because they tell me it's nothing than risk something being wrong.

You can absolutely spot in your first trimester, that is for sure normal. But you always want to check with your doctor, even just give them a call. I spotted in my first tri, and had pains, ended up I had kidney stones, so you may want to get checked out.

I spotted some in my first trimester. It isn't completely normal, but it does happen in some pregnancys. But you can never be to sure with whats going on with your body, so you should def. check with your doctor a.s.a.p. If nothing is wrong then atleast your mind will be at piece. I hope all is okay..!!

This happened to me with one of my pregnancies. They did an ultrasound to make sure all was okay (it was) but they did say there was a good chance I could lose the baby. Please go see your doctor right away.
