This question came from a group I took part in, most people will ramble out what they want generally, spouse, kids, picket fence. Fewer people will answer with fantastic ideas of super powers, and things that are completely non-sensical. These people are usually addictive personalities. There is no right answer only that it is a contradictory statement and "perfect" is not reality. Serenity and peace come from contentment with and reliance on a higher power. Thank you to everyone who answered.

Your question is an oxymoron.
It is the "morality, law, emotion, society, or reason" which makes us civilized and cultured human beings.
What you're suggesting is that we become dumb animals eating grass and being dominated by more intelligent beings.

morality, law, emotion, society and reason are all essentiel to take into account if you anyone is to answer that question. The idea of perfection in a purely hedonistic view is to advance what is pleasurable or satisfying, so in that one sense you would have to say that emotion has to be taken into consideration. I could give an example for all of the other factors.

I agree with the two answers before me. It seems contradictory. I would say the perfect life is to be truly happy, but that is an emotion, so I don't know how to answer the question.

I want a rocket ship so I can take the flesh, bone, and brains to see the universes created for our beings to see.
I would travel, study the Stars, Planets, and Universes while having all the powers that be at my back waiting for a discovery to free us all from the battle of the meager dust bunnies we are in this universe.

Those thinings in balance are part of a perfect life ( well, other than the law part, the others could get along fine without it).
Better Socrates dissatisfied than a pig satisfied.

I don't think you can answer this question without those things. They are basically what life is. It is worded to sound smart, but can you really do anything with no emotion or reason? Doesn't that contradict the word "perfect?" Doesn't that mean happy?

Morality, law, emotion, society, and reason are the core elements of what is life. Without them, you may have "perfect" but you don't have "life." The only people without any problems are in the graveyards.

My idea of a perfect life is waking up every morning and seeing my family..... also every time i have to pay for something that I can reach in my pocket and pull out the exact amount for every purchase I make.

Live simply, being able to be contended with what I have. No comparison with others, for one will be prideful or sore. Look at our processions, and look at the bright side of everything. Positive mental attitude at all times. It's a beautiful world.
1. free your heart from hatred
2. free your mind from worries
3. live simply
4. give more
5. expect less

like on the hippiegoddess.com website
law , emotion, reason are all ok with me
sometimes society and morals get in the way of things I would like to do though
