1992 300TE has a rough idle when warm and would re-start once it dies at an intersection. If I want it to start the engine I must depress the pedal to the firewall and then continue reving the accelorator or it will die. When its cold it is fine again. Any Ideas?

you have a vacuum leak possibly the intake gaket[these have been known to crack] although a vacuum leak from a hose for constant idle motor is another possibility you can find leaks with the engine running with carb cleane spray[ you could catch the car or yourself on fire] but the safest and best way is to use a smoke machine[blows smoke into the intake and where it puffs out is the leak]

It could be your idle air control sensor or throttle position sensor or your Mass airflow sensor. Start with the IAC then check your voltage for your TPS make sure its correct. Many things can cause this even a clogged fuel filter or fuel injector. Is your engine light coming on if so do a scan.
