I was just watching the news and they reported that Christmas trees at a Seattle airport had to be taken down because a rabbi complained about them and they wanted to avoid a lawsuit. I dunno, I think that's excessive. What about you?

Very excessive -- where is the TOLERANCE and RESPECT for the Religious and/or Secular Traditions of others at this time?

It gets bloody ridiculous when something that has been in practise for ages is suddenly un PC and legal action can be threatened. I bet the Rabbi would be furious not mention offended if Jewish holiday symbols were banned from public display. Its surprising whats good for the goose is never good for the gander anymore. The age of political correctness is fast becoming a joke, people need to lighten up, it doesn't help that the media often inflames these arguments for the sake of sales.

I'm sort of a "bah-humbug"er when it comes to Christmas, but good grief, if someone wants a Christmas Tree, let 'em have a Christmas Tree, if they want a Minora(sorry if I spelled it wrong), let them have a Minora. This country is too plitically correct.

I saw that, the Rabi wanted equal time by having a minora, but what I don't understand is when did the tree become a symbol of Christianity? These things just get stranger and stranger.

It absolutely is excessive.
Much like the story I just watched on the news about a mother microwaving her 28 day old baby to death.
This world needs to stop and re-prioritize.

I think that there is a lot of that going around ie protesting manger scenes, the ten commandments, prayer in school, etc. etc... seems they are catering to all the "unbelievers" and therefore aren't they being prejudice to the "believers"?

Sounds excessive. But I would rather not see people celebrating holidays by killing anything that is living, even a tree.
