For some reason the edit section won't let me re-edit and spell Claus right. Sorry, it should have been Claus not Clause.

They're way too busy supervising the elves, making plans for that grand trip around the world that Santa makes every year.
I've seen Claus spelled Clause before. It was clear in meaning.

The elves are their children. The reason that their kids are all so short and have pointy ears is because Mr and Mrs Claus are actually brother and sister (why they look so similar), and THAT caused some birth defects in the kids (because of the inbreeding and all).

I don't think they probably would have time too. Work, work, work all year ya know. Plus all those elves multiply like rabbits so they have a lot of elf bables nearby to kiss and coo at.
