I don't consider myself an idiot when I tell you that I firmly believe that Iraq was an imminent threat and will continue to be if the Liberals implement their "Cut n' Run" policies. Iran and Syria are also imminent threats, just as are the radical Muslims in our society whose numbers are much greater than we think. The only idiots, besides the Liberals, are those of us who refuse to believe and fail to understand that this threat should be taken seriously.

I think we attacked Iraq because of UN security resolution violations. You would have to ask Hillary about Iraq being an imminent threat

Not I.
I hate to admit that I was snookered, but there it is, I was snookered. I believed Colin Powells speech at the UN, I believed that they had mobile chemical warfare trucks, that they backed Al Qaida and were ready to come here and kill us. I didn't understand why the UN group on the ground couldn't find any WMD, I thought they weren't looking hard enough.
Now I want to know why the Reps make fun of the very Dems who believed that our President, even though he was of the opposing party, wouldn't lie or mislead to get us into a shooting war. Wouldn't take his eye off the Osama hunt to drain manpower and focus off the man who caused so much pain and loss.
I believed...once...like so many others I don't anymore.

I think Bush is beyond being an IDIOT, if people did and some did trust him in the beginning, that does not make them idiots today. We as Americans have tried to trust our government and politicians. I think its going to come back and bit them, and we just might get an honest government someday. We are going through transition at this time, I look forward to the changes that will come. It might get rough for a while but we will end up stronger and better.

I believe that the government, knows alot of things we don't, mass histeria prevents them from telling us basicly anything that goes on. So unless you have some millitary background and high security clearence and you know exactly what is going on, you have no right to speculate on what the military should do. let the millitary fight the war, they have been trained to do it.

Why don't some of you people get it, If we wernt fighting over there, they would be fighting over here. or they would be having a ton a free times of there hands to plan another 9/11.
Why wouldn't we go and fight people that just killed over 3,000 American lives? and as the whole congress it wan st just bushes decision, even Kerry voted to go to war.
so what are you saying? that the USA should just give up and let the terroist come here?

It's a valid question, one that really doesn't require insults to ask.
To answer the question, I never believed he was a threat.
