What can you do when you forget your password to your computer when it first comes on? Do you have to get the software reinstalled microsoft xp the computer is a optilex gx620

Try bringing your computer up in safe mode. Log in as the Administrator. Go into the control panel and click on user accounts. Select the account that you forgot the password on. Then remove the password from it.
To get into Safe Mode: Press the F8 key immediately after the Dell logo screen disappears. You should get a menu at that point. Select the Safe Mode /w networking.
