It seems like EVERYTHING the democrats say has a socialist class war tint to it.

They seem like the pigs in Animal Farm.

It's always been so, certainly since the Roosevelt administration.

The grand plan is for the Democratic Party to offer enough goodies and freebies that the Democrats will be re-elected; unfortunately, these little bonanzas have to be paid for by *some*body, and it's always been people with higher than average income.

Because these people are in the minority, it's easy to vote largese from them; this is another example of Jefferson's greatest fear: the tyranny of the majority.

One of my favorite facts: did you know that members of Congress need not pay Social Security tax? It's true! They can be trusted to distribute their income wisely, but the rest of us must have funding compelled from us.

You got to love those Democrats!

I think you have your facts wrong. The Dems care about the rights of the common people just like the Republicans used to. The Dems in theory believe in "more" government but it's pretty hard to tell the difference between the parties any more in that respect.

Most of the newly-elected democrats are fairly conservative. I bet you didn't know that. You just made this question in order to rant, with no foundation of truth whatsoever.

You used the wrong form of the verb. Instead of "is moving" it should be "has moved".

True or not, the Conservatives never have anything nice to say about anyone outside their own ranks.

Ever.
