Open the passenger door. There is a fuse box on the side of the dash. Remove the cover and press and hold the reset button until the light flashes a reset code and goes out. You might need a 2nd person to keep an eye on the light because it is hard to see the light from where you have to press the reset button. Not too sure on the Tahoe, I believe there is a code using the radio controls. It should be detailed in the owner's manual. Hope this helps.

the fuse panel on the passenger side is the correct answer. The Tahoe can be confusing. You have to have the key forward and then put the emergancy brake down. then turn the headlights off and on 3 times then the horn should beep. Sounds very crazy but I am pretty sure this is how for the new tahoes. Have done it before but cant remember all the steps for sure.

Try turning the key on, and pressing the Tire Reset button in the fuse block. What year is your father's Tahoe?

After a new built engine you have to think about the transmission, 212,000 miles is a lot for a car, buicks are good cars but a transmission may be more than the engine, of course once it is all said and done it may go another 212,000 miles,,,a new car might be what you need right now especially in the northern states where it is colder in the winter...

I have a 99 Buick park ave. and mine has a reset button on it. If yours has this u just hold it in till it resets your low tire signal. Also you can try taking the cables off the battery and let it reset all.
