My wife says Leos are protective and Pisces's are sensitive. So, sounds like it could work since the Leo will protect the Pisces when the Pisces is sensitive about something. THIS ASTROLOGY CRAP IS STUPID, BY THE WAY. Good luck.

Pisces, the Fishes, and Leo, the Lion, often share a karmic connection, being an unlikely pair yet finding themselves drawn to each other again and again. Fire Sign Leo enjoys the attention of flattering Pisces, and Pisces appreciates the distinction of being chosen as special in the eyes of the King or the Queen. While at first glance it may seem you have nothing in common, this is far from the case. It can be a mutually beneficial combination, if the two of you are willing to work around basic personality differences.
Leo is a Fixed Sign governed by the life-giving Sun, making the Furry Beasts generally warm hearted , but more than a bit egotistical. Mutable Water Sign Pisces enjoys the rulership of fortunate Jupiter and so shares a certain generosity of spirit with the Lion. Leo loves to be at the centre of the stage, which fits in nicely with Pisces' Neptune-ruled love of photography, glamour, and fantasy. You make a very creative, dramatic pair who can spend untold hours getting lost in worlds of imagination. Of course, who will take care of the bills and feed the baby is another story! The biggest challenge to this combination is living in the world of everyday drudgery.
Because Leo is a Fire Sign and Pisces is a Water Sign, they can create passionate, positive steam. However, enthusiastic, demanding Leo can overwhelm the more retiring and timid Pisces, while the cautious Fishes can sometimes seem like a wet blanket to the life-of-the-party Lion or Lioness. There are few things more pathetic than a Fish in a scorched and dried up pond, or a Lion who is drowning. It is important for you to understand your basic personality differences and to be ready to make some compromises, otherwise the lordly Lion could wake up one day to find the more passive Fish has quietly slipped away.
This is a challenging combination, but it can be very satisfying. With mutually compatible planetary placements and aspects it can be long lasting and the source of much pleasure. Given maturity and grace, this combination can bring you much creativity and joy.

Romantic Compatibility
Provided by Astrology.com
Pisces & Leo
When Leo and Pisces join together in a love match, each partner enjoys the new perspective the other brings to life in general. Leo is a strong and assertive Sign, being free to do what they want and taking command of their surroundings. Pisces is quieter and more reserved and introspective. In many ways the two are polar opposites, yet both are dreamers at heart. When they care for one another, they each fill the other's voids and have a caring, mutually beneficial relationship.
Leo is a natural leader and in a relationship with Pisces often becomes the guardian of their weaker partner. Pisces, in turn, gives Leo the audience they need for their ambitions and social performances. Pisces is a Sign that, like Water, fills whatever container it is poured into. Pisces tends to give themselves over to their love match; a kind heart allows The Fish to know Leo in a way that many other Signs don't. Leo's straight forwardness coupled with that doesn't pass into conceit -- the way Leo alone might act -- and isn't overly shy, like Pisces alone may be.
Leo is ruled by The Sun and Pisces is ruled by the Planet Jupiter. Pisces is also ruled by Neptune. The Sun gives out light, life and a focus on the Self to the Leo-Pisces relationship. Neptune is about big pictures, ideas and illusions; but it's also involved with disillusion and fantasy. Leo can help Pisces turn fantasies into realities. Neptune works through Pisces by softening Leo's sometimes self-centered and abrupt actions, channeling their energy into a more creative and fruitful outlet.
Leo is a Fire Sign and Pisces is a Water Sign. These two can be very happy and progressive if they recognize the other's needs, using introspection and creative ambition to tend to matters of the heart. Pisces can help Leo learn to be humble and to think of the needs of others, while Leo teaches Pisces to go out into the world and begin to loosen up a bit. But Pisces can be too emotional, too much Water dampening Leo's enthusiasm. Conversely, too much Fire can boil the Water and leave Pisces emotionally burned. Leo and Pisces must establish effective communication in order to ensure their balance is maintained.
Leo is a Fixed Sign and Pisces is a Mutable Sign. Pisces doesn't serve well as the boss. They get their greatest satisfaction from bettering the universe, starting with their partner. Leo, on the other hand, comes up with ideas in the first place and suggests little changes to be made here and there in the relationship.
What's the best aspect of the Leo-Pisces relationship? It's their receptiveness to one another's teachings. Pisces shows Leo how to be sensitive and care, and Leo teaches Pisces to make their dreams happen rather than sitting on them. Their ability provide what the other needs makes theirs a truly mutual relationship.

I actually see this relationship work when the leo is male and pisces is female. Since Pisces is more sentimental, humble and does not intent to steal the spotlight. But I don't think it will work the other way around, I read somewhere a long time ago that female Leo will bleed male Pisces dry - well maybe not that messy, but close :):) We are all cats underneath, what cat doesn't eat fish??

No way in HELL. I can't speak for everyone and I try not to take astrology too seriously but I will try to never make that mistake again! I've had nothing but pure misery with Leo guys. I thought they were so harsh and mean to me and I cried all the time. In the beginning it was fun but soon everything became some sort of emotional misunderstanding where I was hurt every time. Strangely, most of my closest female friends have been Leos but romantic relationships with guys were a nightmare. It's actually one of those matches that most astrology books say are BAD.

Pisces is a water sign and Leo is a fire sign. Water puts out fire and fire heats up water. Pisces are often overly sensitive and get their feelings hurt easily. They are also slippery like sharks. By that I mean that everything can be going along nicely and out of the blue they can sting you like a Scorpion. Pisces can be like a wet blanket, and a killjoy for a Leo who tends to be enthusiastic, goodnatured and warm-hearted. But Leos tend to agitate and/or aggravate the water signs.(piss them off). In my opinion, not a good pairing, astrologically speaking and from experience. But I would not let one's horoscope sign be a deterrent to having a relationship, if you are copacetic in other ways.

No, a Pisces is too needy and a Leo is too self centered, astrologically speaking. But you never know for real till you try.

It depends on the reached development by each other....
For example, leo's people can be warm, charming, creative and blah blah... By the other hand, they can be stubborn, too selfish and arrogant.
And pisces will absorb leo's mood. So you gotta analyse..
