my mom bought me a baby phat jacket for $100, and i liked it at the shop, but i HATE it now.
and i saw the one i wanted in hollister, for about the same price, maybe cheaper.. what should i do about this ?
ive had the jacket for about a week.

I guess you can tell her the truth, she'll understand that it looked better in the store. I think your she would be happy as long as you are, but make sure you can return it first lol

it depends if you took the tags off and if you wore it? Because most retailers today are very strict on returns. It's going to depend on whether or not you took the tags off and if you got the item dirty or not.
If the jacket is still clean you could say that it was a gift and your mom took the tags off but if this is the case make sure you do it quick because the less time you have it the easier it will be to return it.
And tell your mom you found a jacket you like better and have her try to return the jacket just promise to do a chore for her.

If you have taken the tags off then maybe go to a resale shop for teens they usually will buy it back from you for about the same price if you have proof of when you bought it. Otherwise tell you mom you found something that you like better, if she doesnt understand then ask for it for Christmas.

I.........do not like baby phat clothing(at all):(But I do like hollister.You probably don't want to hert your mom's feelings.Just say it didn't look right on you and go return it.Try to get your money back so you can buy the hollister jacket.If that doesn't work then I'm stumped.

If you've worn it. It's yours. They will not take it back. If you haven't worn it & the tags are still on it. You can take it back. If your mom spent her money on it. She should take it back & get you what you want. At least be diplomatic when you discuss it with your mom. Tell her you found one that fits better & you like the style better. Don't say you hate it. Being a parent myself. If you told me you hate it. I would say well you liked it at the time we bought it. Wear it.

Well, tell your mom that you actually decided that you don't like and that your really sorry. Ask her if you can return it and buy the new one. And try to make a bet. Like, If I don't like this one, then we'll return it and not get me one 'til I can afford it myself.

clean it up, and take it back with the recepit, get the $100 and go buy the other jacket.
If your mum asks just say you swaped it for a nicer one :/

as long as it is around the same price i don't see the problem with telling her you would like to return it. it shouldn't matter to her if you like another style as long as it isn't costing her more money.
