I love Shawn Alexander. Nyssa Lynn isn't too bad once you figure out how to say it. The name Nyssa isn't one I've heard used before.

Shawn Alexander is a good strong name. Nyssa Lynn...pretty but it may confuse people and cause her some grief later in life. May I suggest the name Anissa? I know a little girl by that name and everyone calls her nissa for short and she still has a formal name (Anissa) as well. Just my thoughts.....

I like Shawn Alexander. I'm not thrilled about Nyssa... it sounds like a car (sorry).

I think that Nyssa is a cute name but the spelling isn't quite right. I don't think that anyone would ever sound it out the way it is supposed to be said and that is just torture in school.
How about Neesa? And, it seems like a nickname, kind of...not sure for what though...
I know a little boy named Eesa. I like that a lot too.
Lynn is okay...not my favorite middle name but it flows nicely.
I like Shawn Alexander but I like the spelling Sean much, much better.

I really like the second name. May I suggest Deborah, Jewel or May to go before Lynn? Nyssa Marie or Nyssa Renee.

NYSSA is New York State Society of Anesthesiologists. I don't think that I'd like to grow up with Nyssa for a name.
Think of something else that wont cause your child to hate their name. Go for something that is not unusual.
