In 2006 the Congress worked only 65 full days. No wonder there was so little accomplished, were they all golfing with Abramhoff. I suggest that they punch a time card , then we'll at least know where they are even if they are'nt doing anything for the contry,it's a start,what do you think?

Everybody else works 5 days per week or more.. They should too.

Yeah, and lets do that to teachers also.

By the way, congressmen don't only work 'inside' that big room you see on cspan. Working consists of being outside the House of Representatives, also.

Also, George Bush has taken more days off then any President in recent history. Thank goodness! That is the first positive thing I have heard about his Presidency.

We can start with my Senator, Barrack Obama. He ran on veterans issues, then he just ran. Now it looks like he is running for President. What the hell? he has spent more time on the campaign trail than taking care of his constituents!

Yeah, but they get paid the big bucks, and they won't have to worry about retiring on Social Security, nor about their kids going into the military.

No please. How about 1 day a week? The less "work" they do the better and that goes for Democrats as well.

Well, we saw with some of the laws they passed that it was much better for us when that group didn't do anything... the 110th will be better, I'll assure you...
