What careers could I have if I were to major in Animal Science?

What careers and their descriptions could I have if I were to major in Animal Science, Wildlife Study, Animal Behavior, and the likes?Also, what colleges close to the NE offer these?

I'm not sure which colleges would offer it, but every college will have a biology department. Biology is the foundation of all the fields you listed. Perhaps you should consider that, if you have an interest in life and studying living things.

For careers, there are numerous careers you could enter with a degee in animal studies. You could be a field researcher, work at a zoo, work for a veterinarian's office, work for government environmental agencies, and work in universities as a researcher or professor to name a few.

University of Nebraska has one of the best Animal Science departments in the country. In general, Animal Science is a lot about livestock whereas Wildlife (usually Fisheries and Wildlife) is a lot more about wild animals. Other good schools for Animal Science are Iowa State, Colorado State, Kansas State, and South Dakota State (that border NE). A state's land grant school will be the only to offer both Fisheries and Wildlife and Animal Science.

Animal Science majors offer become salesmen (feed or pharmecuticals), vets, farmers, or ranchers. Some go on to grad school and others work in more office type jobs in the agricultural industries.

You could be a marine biologist. You could take pictures of animals or train animals. There are some other careers related to animal science too like being a vet.
