Great Question. By using DSL Internet Service, you'll need to install a dsl filter on each and every phone line in your home for it to work. Bellsouth supplies you with 5 or more filters so that you can do that. Holla if I can help further. Larry Radio Shack 01-9590

being that your on the internet and it covers the world, one needs to know what country your in before a question like this can be answered,

now if your in england on DSL you should already have the filter with the computer conected to it, if this is so then connect the phone cable from the modem into the phone connecter on the filter, you will need to have the modem driver install on the computer and all the fax software installed, then you will need to have the fax setup through the software .. eg after so many rings pick up the phone, save incoming fax (folder name) the help in the fax software will explain how to set the software up
hope this helps you

in case you do not ideas paying a month-to-month fee, there are FAX amenities like eFax that ought to deliver faxes over the internet somewhat than over known telephone lines. i imagine this is round $17/month, quite expensive once you're in elementary words sending an occasional Fax.
