Book value is between $3- $8(assuming it's nr mint to mint), but what you could get for it would depend on where you are. I'm sure in Cincy or Seattle you could get $10, but here in Va Beach you probably couldn't get $2.
Sean B- You're thinking the Upper Deck, not the Donruss. It used to be $70-$100, it's about $50 now and not going up.

It is worth a little. Hold on to it though. In 10-20 more years the price will go up greatly especially if he has any more acheivments.

If it's the card I think it is, it's worth $8.00 NM//MT which means Near Mint/Mint. So it depends on what shape it's in and what the market is for it where you live. If interested in any baseball cards I have a bunch my father left me when he passed away almost ten years ago. Mostly have 89-98 baseball cards from maker Upper Deck, Topps, Fleer, Donruss and so on and so on. He had a bunch of em. Just e-mail me if interested.

It has actually going up in value over that last couple weeks.
it looks like it is up to $3.00-$8.00
which for a card that young is very good!
