Make up isn't what causes pimples! Hormones cause pimples! Just ask a dermatologist!
If you wear make up to hide your pimples just make sure you use a water base make up and wash your face with a mild cleanser before applying make up and at the end of the day. Never go to bed with make up on. That can cause clogged pores and that can lead to black heads.
I always wear make up and I have had acne since I was 18 and I am now 44. Wearing or not wearing make up makes no difference in my problem. I have tried it both ways. Wearing make up helps me to hide the imperfections and I am a happier person as a result.

You need to buy non-comedogenic, which means it won't clog your pores. In addition, it should be oil free. Almay & Neutrogena are great drugstore brands for this. If you want to spend more, go to a department store and try Clinique. You should also buy an acne tool. They cost about $10 and you can get it at a drug store. It's a metal tool about 5 inches long with a loop at each end. You put the loop around the pimple and gently press down to extract the pus. This way you are not damaging the skin or causing infection. You want to be really careful not to scar your skin. After you pop, use ICE to help ease the swelling and irritation. Also, wash your face every night with a gentle cleanser, pat dry and apply moisturizer and acne treatment. In the morning, repeat. You should not wash anymore than 2x a day and don't exfoiliate. It causes too much irritation. Hope that helps!

You definetly should not put makeup on your pimples.. It's not good at all. You shouldn't even touch your pimples. Don't squeeze, pinch, or pick you pimples because if you do, you will get scars or dark spots on you skin. Clean skin gently. Use a mild cleanser in the morning, evening, and after heavy workouts.
If you really do need the usage of makeup then make sure it's oli free. Also, on the product make sure it says "noncomedogenic" on the label. This means that the makeup will not clog up your pores.
But I would honestly just advie you to not use make-up at all. :)

Depends find a formula with sarylic acid around 1% to 5% and the makeup should be fine. Some formulas are fine if they don't clog pores, try to find makeup with out any oil's and you shouldn't make the pimple any worse.
