For me, it's when someone doesn't laugh when I say something funny!

That's kind of the awkward thing for me too...sometimes you think something is funny but someone else doesn't...doesn't happen a lot but when it does, it's rather awkward!

It is when I see someone that I have seen working in the bank but this time I see them in the supermarket. Then I realize I can't remember what their name was and I am stuck behind them in the checkout line hoping they get out of the store before they realize that they recognize me too. Even worse is the next time I go to the bank and they look at me weird so I realize they did recognize me.

The worst for me, is a compliment that I know is not sincere. Someone saying how 'pretty' I am, or the guy selling magazines telling me I look like I'm 35 (not the 51 I am, and look). I never know what to say, for sure.
