It is completely normal. Also to ease your mind, if you decide to have children when you get older, you will still be able to nurse them (if you so choose). There are nipple shields you can buy and use to help the nipple protrude normally if you are overly concerned about it. Speak to your doctor. In rare cases, and I do mean rare for your age, nipple inversion can be a sign of cancer, however, if it is not prevalent in your family, I would not worry about it. Also, your nipples would be normal at first, then grow inward, if it were cancer.

Some people have inverted nipples and it is normal for them. You are still young and they could change as you age. Nothing to worry about. Next time you are in for a check up, ask the doctor what she thinks.

I just want to put you mind at ease about the cancer issue. Your anatomy sounds like it is normal for you, and that is ok you are healthy. The issue another poster brought up is that an inverted nipple can signal cancer and yes it can BUT this is for a woman who has never had an inverted nipple and one day she sees that she does. This is the case where breast cancer must be ruled out, in your case it is simply your anatomy.

It is very common. Nothing wrong with it. You won't need surgery or anything like that. You might have some trouble nursing if you plan to have children and nurse them. There is a devise you can use for inverted nipples to nurse your baby. I shared a room at the hospital with a woman that had to do this. It took her baby awhile to take to her breast, but eventually her baby girl did.

you can live a normal life like that you may not be able to breast feed or you can take measures to fix it i dated a girl with inverted nipples one time it was strange but more because she didn't tell me in advance that she had inverted nipples but there is nothing really wrong with you and who knows it may turn someone on one day

This can happen, if you have not developed fully yet. As your breasts develope more they should become more normal, consult your doctor if you are concerned.
