The Yorkshire Dales. Beautiful rolling hills with pastures demarcated by dry stone wall, some of which are centuries old. Sheep grazing. Narrow country road where one must occasionally stop to allow passage of sheep or cattle. Friendly people. Small villages which are neatly landscaped. In spring to fall, it is all green. You'd really have to see it.

Crossing the Irish Sea to Wales on a ferry on a beautiful summer day and seeing the mountains of North Wales in the distance. It was breathtaking!

I believe the most beautiful place that I have ever been is in Katmandu in Nepal.. It, when you first land there, is like a breath of peace... It is where Mt. Everest is located ... between India and China. It is so peaceful.. and a high up beauty with its beautiful mountains beckoning to you
