the talon is a sports car...comes with either the 4 or 6 cylinder engine and is a good car. of course the 4 cylinder model will get better fuel milage and the stick will get you a little better milage if you know how to use it correctly. If it runs good and the seller has clear title then I'd say go for it...been good cars...the eagle is manufactured by Chrysler...and they make very good cars no matter what anyone on here says about them...been dealing with chrysler cars for years and haven't been dissapointed yet.

Good luck

93 talons, first find out which model it is, the rarer one is the "tsi" and its available in either awd or fwd with a turbo 2.0l motor, if you dont know much about cars, stay away from this because turbo cars = more maintanance
any car can be good, transmissions are usually the trouble spots with the talons, but just check milleage and the underbody of the car for rust, and thentake it to a mechanic

if you are looking to learn about cars and it is ur hobby then definately buy if it is a "tsi" very fast fun car

I guess it depends on if you can work on cars or not. I had a '93 Eclipse with the SOHC 1.8 POS motor. The car gave me little trouble for a while. When I got it it needed a transmission and a few little things. It lasted me nicely, but didnt like the cold too much. It will last you alright; I beat the HELL out of mine every day and it ran just fine, until my drink friend ran it over with a lifted ford. Good on gas, drives nice... For your money though, I suggest a 2nd gen. RX7! Screw pistons!

If you are not mechanical and a good mechanic, then by all means have it checked by a professional ":before" you buy it or agree to purchase. If clean bill ofhealth they are neat little cars. I have an eclipse of similar vintage and love it even though it has it's quirks. Parts are plentiful and reasonable mostly and not that hard to work on. Besides fun to drive.
