I found, on opening up this question, that my example of my extreme evil had already been taken, several times, which led me to the following answer:
Write a philosophical paper to the effect that there is no such thing as absolute evil. Its opposite is to ask a question such as yours affirming that there is evil because everyone has an example of the evil he or she can do.
Absolute evil exists in that in the human species there is an overarching consensus that certain acts are evil whatever language or culture the respondents may happen to be a party to.By evil I mean acts that bring about extreme sorrow or distress.

hmm lets see the most evil thing that i can do would be to umm ...ummm...ummmmm hit someone over the head, tie them buck naked to the back of a sports car and Floor it...i mean really put the petal to the metal. To top off my nastiness i will buy a bag of rock salt and pour it and cake it all on their wounds.
lets see the nicest thing that i can do would be to win like a billion dollors and open a home for pregnant women and teens also this home will be free of charge temporarily for women/teens with no money, and on a sliding scale for those with a little more finacial weight... this will help support the GED training and daycare and food supplies in other words for them to be self suficeint

Evil tricky, we have very Christian ideas about well just about everything but especially that particularly emotive word.
In Christian theology, evil is 'required' (necessary evil) to reflect it's opposite, those doing evil are doing what they are supposed to do in the grand scheme of things.
The Chinese and Indien populations which lets face it are the majority of the planet have a very different world view and a very different view of suffering.
So evil is tricky.....
But I guess destroy the world, a la Hitler but worse.
Or save it by enough saying enough.

I guess the most evil thing would be to blow up the entire world a couple times over with nuclear weapons?
The opposite might be.. um.. reducing global warming and all those hippie-related protest themes? Lol.

There is NO one act which could be considered the most evil thing you could do.
I would imagine however that things like genocide and sexual abuse would be up there in the top 5.

i think the most evil thing anyone can do is to abuse a child its one of the few things that can never ever be excused
and the opposite, hard to say, nurture and protect a child.

EVIL- brewing a rather nasty chuff for a couple of hours, dropping it, then leaving the room.
GOOD- leaving a room whilst in the company of others to drop a potentially potent cushion duster.

Call yourself Gordon Brown and pretend you know how to manage the economy.
Opposite : Still call yourself Gordon Brown but admit that you've been lying through your teeth, cooking the books and stealing our money all these years. And give the money back.

i think maybe a lie that gets someone thrown in jail for something they didnt do would be bad, then the opposite would be to help someone who is in that position avoid jail if you know the truth.
