Assuming you aren't messing with the mouse or keyboard plugs at all and they are firmly inplace - it could be something else entirely - Like your SYSTEM locking up, not just the mouse and keyboard.

If so, the most general cause of that is viruses or spyware. If that is taken care of, it could be a driver issue.

If the lockup occurs on a regular basis (say, 1/5 times) you can try starting to Safe Mode to see if it happens there. Tap the f8 key right after you start your computer up, select safe mode. Doesn't lock up? Restart and repeat and see if it ever locks up there.

If it doesn't, you know something: That it's either a driver or program that's loading in normal mode. Gives you somewhere else go to with the problem, and further narrow it down.

If it happens too in safe mode, and a virus is out of the question, it could be a hardware issue.

Keyboards form part of the user interface and a keyboard problem can be very annoying. Sometimes the keyboard drivers can get corrupted. Some of the problems can be fixed . i Think ur mouse & key board is USB , during Booting time it not reconazed by os . so u chaked first yours COMPUTER HARDWARE manger that all the USB drivers load poperly or not .
butter reinstall the all the UBS driver.
if again that problem happens then the problem with MOTHER BOARD USB port.

or
if youre moues & key bord is PS2 then reinstall the os .then also the problem arrive then the problem with MOTHER BOARD PS/2 port.

May it is due to virus problem. Scan your system. Or tack backup format your pc. Install new OS and antivirus.

Check to make sure they're completely plugged in. The wires could be loose.
