being a qualified mechanic it is very important to get the belt done. i have seen too many snapped belts and the dramas that happen after it breaks. not a cheap exercise. get it replaced and it will be cheaper in the long run. also keep the services up to date, the car will last longer and u will have a less chance of things going wrong in the long run.

You should have it replaced before it breaks. If it breaks while you are driving you take the chance of bending the valves. It will be alot cheaper now than later.

I have a KIA RIO too and it is one of the best
cars I ever have had - never a problem.

However, you should follow the maintenence
instructions.
