Ok everytime I feed him, he stays away from the bowl.
When my mom or brother feeds him, he eats.
When I pet him, he trys to bite me.
When anyone else pets him, he does nothing but purr
When I hold him, he struggles and bites
When anyone else holdes him, he relaxes and does nothing
When I call for him, he never comes
When anyone else calls for him, he almost always comes
He never sleeps on any of my stuff [pillows, room, bed, etc.]
But he always sleeps on my moms bed, and my brothers pillow.
Please help!!!!!!!

Wow, I have a cat like that. How old is it? If it's over 4 years, than it has already chosen that 'special person'. It picks a person that it doesn't like, depending on how persistant the person is. Just try to keep your distance from him. He'll come around once he realizes you have stopped trying, and he'll get irritated and want your attention.

It seems like he might be mad at you for something. Do you spend alot of time away from homeor avoid the daily duties like making sure the litter box is clean and fresh water,?. My mom spends all the time at home and Im away at work the whole day. So my cat has grown more attached to her instead of me. But when i get home i make sure she knows i missed her, maybe give her a small treat and play with her., and check her food and water,. Its a challenge to earn a cats affection., but if you are consistent with really taking care of him,. maybe that will be a way for him to see you love him and he will come around.

Oh please. This cat just doesn't like you, clearly. Animals in general are just funny like that. They know instantly if they like someone or not. For reasons unknown to most intelligent people, they decide from the minute they meet us. I wouldn't waste any time or emotions worrying or stressing about this. Just move on and ignore this cat. Don't ever be mean to it because it's hurt your feelings. Just try to see the humor in it and don't force your affections on it in an attempt to win it's love. It's not going to happen. Unless of course, the cat decides that your o.k. after all. Since that may never happen, move on.

Is your cat a tortie? They are usually a "one person cat." I had one--she slept with me, was at the door waiting for me when I came home, was there to jump on my lap when I sat down to watch TV. If anyone else tried to "come on" to her, she would hiss and have nothing to do with them. In time though, after spending a lot of time around them, she would become more friendly. She would even jump up on their laps--however, she just needed to spend a lot of time around them, and almost be desparate for attention I guess, before she would finally give in. While mine was a female cat, I would think a male would behave in the same manner. Just be patient, be nice. Maybe it wouldn't even hurt to speak with your Vet to see what he might suggest. Good Luck.. I lost my cat after 14 years. It really hurt--I can still see her little face when I close my eyes and think of her. She was a sweetie. I've never really brought myself to get another one--maybe someday.

There is a saying -- and it is VERY true.
You don't choose your cat, your cat chooses you.
I don't think it is anything personal, and the cat doesn't hate you, it just didn't choose you. Another cat might have to be around you ALL the time and will scoul at your Mom.
Cat's have crazy little personalities so you just never know what you will get!

Cats don't "hate" people. They cannot comprehend such emotions. There is a reason for everything and they are all seperate to each other, like Cattrax said. Cat's generally hate loud noises...are you loud in general? Do you have loud music in your bedroom? They will remember the loud ones and AVOID them...not "hate" them. Try to be more gentle with him. Less loud...and don't force him...take it easy. If you're forceful it will work against you.
Cattrax gave good avise.

maybe he doesn't like the kind of food you are feeding him
maybe your petting him in the wrong spots
you may be holding him wrong
he may only come to a certain tone of voice
your room may have a smell that is too strong for the cat(not bad like nail polish remover, or any other strong smelling stuff)

My little sister has the same problem with one of our cats.
No matter what she tries to do the cat just hates her.
But with me and my mom, well more my mom, the cat doesn' mind.
The main thing we say to my sister is, "Leave the cat alone!"
Let the cat come to you, it might take a little while, but I'm sure it will happen.
"Play hard to get."

I don't want to say your cat hates you but he doesn't seem too fond of you. Maybe it's your perfume, or maybe it's something you said. Give him some space. In time apologize to him for whatever he may think you did and then work on your relationship from there. Works for people too!
