i doubt it, most online stores don't want to mess with checks and cash. but hey, if you have a check, that means you have a checking account, which also means you probably have a debit card which has a visa/mastercard logo on it, so you can use that the same like a credit card, only the money comes out of your checking account

No, most anything bought on-line requires a credit card. Some shops on-line will bill to your address, then you can send a check.
