I thought they hit bottom when they made the dukes of hazard movie but I hear there is a "CHiPs" movie coming out. What's next, Mayberry RFD the movie? And what is the worst one so far?

You mean like...The Brady Bunch, Beverly hillbillies, Starsky and Hutch?
Chips movie????? Noooooooo
At least the X-files Movie and Star trek kept within it's plot and used the original actors.

Yeah, when they try to make a movie from a TV show there are simply too many people involved. Too many chefs in the kitchen so to speak.
What makes it so sad is that often the movies could have been good. Dukes of Hazard could have been decent. When you make something like that you need to keep the characters generally like the original. The guy that played Roscoe was totally miscast. Willie Nelson as Uncle Jesse was a stroke of genius though.
Beverly Hillbillies worked reasonably. The only "real" Star Trek movie was "Wrath of Khan".
To me, the best movies from TV were the two Addams Family movies.

A CHiPs movie is a disaster waiting to happen.

Not only does Hollywood ruin TV shows but they ruin books too. I think the worst TV to movie is either Starsky and Hutch or Charlie's Angels. They were clearly trying too hard to make them modern. The worst book to movie Timeline the book was so much better and they left an extreme amount of the book out as well as changed the gender of several characters.

I agree. They try to make the shows more modern, but instead make them crappy.
I am however interrested in the A-Team remake in the works.
If this gets screwed up. I will never watch another remake agian.

in all likelihood a Floppy the dogs movie, yet i might in all likelihood rip on that as much as that guy did while he made the Brady Bunch movie. He'd in all likelihood pass around humping human beings's legs, for one element.

Yes, and vice-versa. Decent movies made into horrible tv shows.

Sadly it seems Hollywood has seriously run out of ideas.
