The American Institute of Architects (AIA) has designated seventeen American buildings designed by Frank Lloyd Wright to be retained as an example of his architectural contribution to American culture.

Fallingwater is considered Wright's masterwork, and is probably his most famous work. In fact, the Frank Lloyd Wright Foundation describes Fallingwater as "the most famous house ever designed for non-royalty."

On a lighter note, Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie recently visited Fallingwater to celebrate his birthday.

Probably the Guggenheim Museum (the one you see in the beginning in Men in Black, where Will Smith is chasing the alien in circles up the building). Also, Falling Waters is fairly well known--it's a house that sits on a waterfall, and a stream actually goes through the house. That's not a good example of engineering, though--it's not very stable, and having the stream running through the house makes it tough to heat. Finally, there's Taliesan (sp?) West, his home in the southwest, which looks like it's part of its desert surroundings.
