Buy a box of Devils Food cake mix. Add a can of pie cherries. Bake per box instructions. Got this from allrecipe.com It also works in a non stick bunt pan - then frost with just powdered sugar.

very easy--cake mix, 2 cans fruit, nuts,
Pour one can of pie fruit filling into a 8X12 pan, sprinkle the dry cake mix on top. Pour the second can of pie fruit filling, sprinkle nuts on top, bake at 350 for 30 minuts. I use one can of apple pie filling and one bag of frozen blueberries. I do not like alots of sugar. If you like very sweet desserts use the pie filling for both layers.
