The Midwest accent that encompasses the Illinois, Wisconsin, Minnesota north-west type areas. Those accents sound pretty bad.

Technically, the only acceptable accent for television and radio is a false norm developed for just that. It is based somewhat on the one found in Ohio as far as I know. American Standard is what most every announcer uses. So I would have to say anything outside standard tends to bother me. But in the end, it doesn't really matter that much.

i imagine you been observing too a lot jersey shore or the sopranos :) once you've new jersey accent, then you hate long island or Pennsylvania or Connecticut or Maryland or Delaware or Massachusetts accent. there is no vast difference in accent in those states. i understand because I really have vacation throughout those states and search for suggestion from from many human beings.

The French accent is the sexiest accent. Spanish if they don't talk to fast.
I don't pay attention to any of the rest.

The most annoying one is the one they all speak at Walmarts. There ain't an english accent in the store.

Annoying accents..? let me think... no accent annoys me. I get annoyed when I hear people from Argentina, Peru, Venezuela, Puerto Rico speak spanish..I don't like those accents..but I learn to tolerate. I prefer the Mexican accent for Spanish.
