I Need Serious Help, How Do i Get Better Grades???

Question

Am asking this cause i have always tried to make A's And B's, some times i might have like A,B,B,C,C,D, sometimes Fs,i do all my work,i do all my projects stuff like that but one thing is test and quizzes, i fail cuz i get nervous,cant think, i need to change my life, am in high school, the most Important Grade Level, i wanna go to a good college. Am sick and tired being only one make bad grades, my brother gets all A's and Sometime b's, Hes smart, he partys alot. Sometimes i ask myself how can someone who leaves his room, a mess get better grades than me and he partys alot, i feel like am the only one dumb in my family, My sister had all A's the worst grade she got was High C, but only got a C in her life.i wanna be like my bro & sis. i need tips to better grades, like what can i do, but i still wanna have fun. i care bout my life, I wanna live happy, wit a motorcycle, nice supd up car, Nice crib, Stuff like that, i need to change my life If i want to get the things i want.

Talk to a teacher about taking practice tests to help build up your test taking skills. Also, evaluate your study habits. Maybe you could be studying in a different way that would help you feel more prepared for tests. If you know the material inside and out, you should feel less nervous and should be able to concentrate better. Maybe you could also talk to your teachers about doing some extra credit projects to balance out your test scores.

More important than anything, keep a positive outlook. If you tell yourself ahead of time that you're going to do badly, then you probably will. Remember that grades are not necessarily an indication of our intelligence.

I think you need to calm down. Don't let the pressure from your family get to you. I am terrible at math and ended up having a private tutor for a couple of years in high school and that really helped me. Getting one on one with a teacher for extra help with test taking skills could help too. Don't psych yourself out over a test or a quiz. Make sure that you start studying at least a few days before a test and not the night before. If I start studying the night before, I feel like I don't know the material and didn't get all the way through it, but if I take my time and plan a few days in advance before a test or quiz, I tend to do much better.

You should work with a teacher or something to work on your test-taking skills. That is where it looks like you are having trouble. you need to learn to relax.
if you have done all you work like you're supose to, then it should be no problem, you just have a bad reaction to pressure.
you'll need to learn how to deal with that.
if that's not it , then you need to study to understand and not just memorising facts.
