This is my first lesbian crush and i am kind of confused. I thought i was totally straight but then Lindsey comes along. I don't think she feels the same way about me but what do i do ?

I disagree strongly with the other answers. You can't just walk up to a straight girl and say, "hey I like you" and expect a positive result. The best way, if your interest in her is serious and you really don't want to blow the relationship if the "I'm attracted to you" thing didn't work out, scaring her away is: develop your friendship to such a state of trust and caring that the closeness you have as friends can handle your confession of love or attraction. That way, even if she doesn't like the idea, you haven't completely ruined your chances in the future, much less current status of friendship.

Strike up a conversation with her,if you're in high school,ask her to hang out sometime(just the two of you).
