I've done is once to my laptop and im thinking of doing it again because its running slow and the laptop speakers( on the laptop) seem to skip. they sound distorted. If I do a system recovery does it wipe out all the programs and re installs them again? what happens if i do this again to my laptop as far as memory or space?

A system Recovery is setting your computer like how it was when you first got it. You will loose everything on it that is not saved.
