Americans do think they are the best in the world, but so do many other nations - they are just more quiet about it, but Americans generally have the bigger mouths, and that is what gets them into trouble. Most Europeans think they are 'superior' than Americans, more 'classy' and sophisticated, but they just 'sit' back, and let the brash and obnoxious Americans continue to blow their own trumpets.

We're pretty damn cool, I can tell you that. But I think The Netherlands has us beat.
Plus, have you been to the U.S.? All you have to do is spend ten minutes in Chicago and know this is one of the greatest countries on the planet.

We don't think we are the greatest in the world, and if somebody is so full of themselves that they do...I set them straight. I don't think we are the greatest coutry in the world. We are polluted, obese, and many other problems as well. But don't include me in your observation. I think education is important to greatness. How couragous you are and how often you help people is good too.

Because they are, they have the best actor's,best t.v shows,best talk shows, they are the best, they don't hide anything(we are talking about the people here not the Politcians) and they are the freindliest. I'm not American.

Well we do have the best economy, military, technology, and so on. Mostly it's just pride in our contry. I'm sure other contries think they are the best too.
