Vitamin A and D dissolve in fat that;s why they put them in milk. Vitamin C dissolves in water.

Vitamins A, D, E, and K are fat soluble. That means that you can overdose on them. Vitamin C and the B vitamins are water soluble.

K, E, D all dissolve in fat. The rest dissolve in water. Remember that "like dissolves like" i.e. water (polar) will dissolve vitamins whose molecules are polar. Fat, being nonpolar will dissolve vitamins whose molecules are nonpolar.
