not to be mean, but symbolical is not a word.----about saying this, i am happy to admit that i am wrong. I even apologize for (if in any way offending you). Obviously I have offended you though because you went so far as to demean my capabilities for earning my masters in English (which I am already enrolled in a program for, I was asking a question about the quality of PhD programs). I have never heard "symbolical" used in my life. This is because (according to the dictionary) symbolic means the same thing. I have always heard "symbolic" used instead.

However, in my defense I must state there was no need to be mean on one of my posts. Honestly, I am happy to admit that I am wrong. That does not make the quality of my intelligence any less capable in my field of study simply because I do not know one particular bit of information. But sadly, I was presumptuous. I should have looked up the word first instead of having too much confidence in the knowledge that I already possess. That does make me a haughty person and therefore, a terrible learner.
I do apologize, sincerely, and as I said, I never intended to offend you. Could you please take your comment off of my question? I woud be happy to take this entire written discourse off of your question as well if you like.

Here are my ideas:
Cats
Heiroglyphics
Pyramids
The Pharoah's hat
Sphynx
Mummy
Tomb for a mummy
sand
eyes traced with eyeliner (in the egyptian style)
Scarab (I hope I spelled this correctly. It was in the movie "The Mummy.")
and I will offer one more: the sun, one of the Egyptian's biggest gods is the sun-god.
