if you got positives you are pregnant.
You can lose the baby at any time during pregnancy, but the healthier you are and the more calm you are the less likely that is to happen.
You're testing a whole week before you're due for your period, and getting positive results? I think you should wait and get blood work done. If you're testing that early and getting positives its likely that you were pregnant and bled like a period without realizing it.
You count from the first day of your last period, not the last, If the 17th were the last day of your period then it would make sense for you to test now and get a positive since you've be due, or about due for your period. But for it to be the first day of your last period it'd be insanely early to get a positive urine result.
Go have blood work done, you'll have to anyway to confirm the gestational period of your pregnancy.

Unfortunately, you could lose the baby at any stage. That's what we pregnant mothers have to deal with for 9 months. But, don't worry, chances are you won't and in 8 1/2 months you will have a beautiful baby! Good luck!

Miscarriage is always higher within the first 12-13wks of pregnancy. If you smoke, then quit. If you drink alcohol, stop it until you have bub. Eat healthy and get some rest.
This doesnt guarantee though that you wont miscarry. It does help things in some cases. Miscarriages are regretfully part of life and if your body cannot or will not hold on to the fetus then it just wont do it.

The majority of miscarriages occur before 12 weeks. By 12 weeks, if a normal heartbeat is heard or the pregnancy looks normal on ultrasound, the chance of miscarriage goes down to about 1%.

Yes - miscarriage is most common up to 3 months. but try not to focus on that! I didn't even find out I was pregnant until I was 10 weeks! You have the advantage of taking care of yourself from the very start. I did all kinds of bad things before I found out, but luckily my daugther is perfect. Congrats!

Yes, it is. The risk of miscarriage drops dramatically for each week you pass, though.
But nothing you do (aside from taking medication that you shouldn't) is going to CAUSE it.
