What's better Play Station3 or the new XBOX that's recently out?

Were you in a coma? The new XBOX that's recently out? The new XBOX has been out for over a year now.

PS3 graphics will look better than 360 graphics because it has the better and more powerful graphic processor. Only reason 360 games looks better than PS3 games is because 360 has been out for a year, so it's comparing 1st generation graphics against 2nd generation graphics. Some of the PS3 games were developed for the PS2 and ported over to the PS3 (Madden, anyone), so that's why the PS3's graphics looks like PS2 graphics.

A bunch of games is not going to guarantee a system's success. It's a combination of quality and quantity. A system needs to have an abundance of good quality games in order to get the customers to continue to buy games. N64 and GC had many good quality games, but it didn't have enough of it because there wasn't any 3rd party support. On the other hand, the Atari console (2600, 5200, 7600) had a lot of games, but it failed because they weren't quality games. Most of the games were just rehash of arcade games with better graphics. PS2 succeeded because it had a combination of 2. There were a lot of good quality games.

This question has been answered a million times! The xbox 360 is way better than the ps3 by alot!!! The 360 has better gameplay and u can play xbox live. Better games!! that u will actually play. All ps3 is graphics

It really depends on what you want in a console. The PS3 has phenomenal graphics, loads of multimedia capabilities, but poor online support. The 360 has great graphics, fantastic online support, but most of the games focus on Xbox live, so it doesn't have as great a single player experience as the PS3.

If you want your console to play and download movies and music, plus loads of other multimedia features, go with the PS3. If you're looking to play online the 360 is by far your best bet.

I disagree. Just because it has more games does not make it the better console. Its the combination of a good selection of games and console playability. Also price and other elements but I doubt PS3 will be as ground breaking as they are trying to hype it up to be. For me Xbox 360 does the job more than well enough.

Playstation 3! It's way better, the graphics r off the chain and they have way better games and they have more of them to. i suggest that if you like playing with a lot of people with out paying an extra $10 to get a wire to play 8 players get a Xbox 360. Xbox 360 has 4 ports to plug the games in.

Well, it really depends on your, how much $ you are willing to spend, what kind of TV you have, and what games you like

Xbox 360-Has better HD than the PS3 (Gamespot.com has an article on this with pictures) Has HALO 3, Has Gears of war, DOES NOT have free online ($50 For the year) has the marketplace where you can download new things for your games and new demos, has the option of having a hard drive, and is priced at a moderate $299-$399

PS3-Has worse HD than the Xbox, has free online, has downloadable games for the PSP, Comes with an internal 20 or 60 GIG hard drive, has Finalfantasy 13, has Devil may cry 4, has the new motion sensor sixaxis controler, but is priced at an extreamly high $499 for the 20 gig, or $599 for the 60 gig

Nintendo WII-Has the worst graphics of the three systems, has the new motion sensor controller (Which is tuns of fun), has ZELDA, has old games to download onto your hard drive (Internal), Has NO online multiplayer, has a built-in picture editor, has the "Mii" creator (Where you make a mini version of yourself, which is very funny) will soon have an online internet browser, will have supersmash bros brawl, comes in the box with wii sports, is priced at the cool $250

xbox 360-for people willing to spend some cash, who like the shooter, who care about graphics, and who dont care about the motion sensor and just want to get into the game. (For hardcore gamers) (Most games are made for adults)

PS3-for people who can spend LOTS of money, who like the RPG style of game, who care about graphics, and who want to use their hands with motion sensor gameing. (More for teen gamers, but can be fun for adults too) (For big gamers)

Wii-for people who feel that they dont need to spend a lot of money for a good game, who like swinging there arms when they play with motion sensor, who like platform games, and who dont care how good there game looks as long as its fun. (More for kids, but i've played it with adults who love it more then there husband/wife) (For the gamer who wants to get active with there game, or more relaxed and like a game every once and a while)

Honestly I would have to say both... One they both have excellent graphics... Ps3 has a high price range, but the games jeebus look realistic.. And Devil may cry 4 will be out for that... Xbox360 you have a choice to either play online or just have a reg gaming console... Plus halo3 comes out on that...

Both usually have a faster loading time... Both are easier to play plus they are putting kids games on them.... And well PS3 you don't have to get up and shut it off.. It's right there on the controller heh.. Go fig..

Adam, you are sadly mistaken. This also includes all the people that says that Xbox 360 has better graphics. Screenshots don't prove anything. Your computer sucks and have bad graphics card, period. Ps3 is worth $600 for a reason. Unlike Xbox it could do a lot more. And for that person who said it can't go online, oh hell yeah it can. Being that the servers aren't up doesn't mean they don't have online play.

I have a 360 but not a PS3, but as far as i can tell, the graphics for 360 r better. I know that a lot of people said PS3 graphics would be better... but theyre NOT. I've seen a lot of screen shots and on some games for PS3, the graphics look like regular PS2 graphics.

I think the Xbox360 is better because of the price difference. The graphics are pretty much the same but PS3 has some better features.
