Carter for a boy is great!
What about a more femme spelling of Marley? Marliegh maybe? If you do go with Marley (or any spelling of it for that matter) I suggest using a very girly middle name to balance. Good luck!

Why is everyone naming their sons after the dude who was president in the late 70s? Is the next generation going to name their sons Bush? Marley sounds like a boys' name to me.

Carter is cute, but I don't like Marley for a girl. For some reason it reminds me of Scrooge.

don't like marley, it's just too weird.
carter is ok, a lil rough on the edges (or tongue in this case), but ok.
