I'm looking for some good jazz music artists/songs that have good tenor sax and/or trombone parts. Making a personlized CD for a friend who likes stan getz, t monk, ray charles, louis armstrong, chet baker, and maynard ferguson, but wants to listen to artists other than them.

yeah, I play tenor, and when I was in high school we just transposed the trombone part to tenor because we had the exact same problem. Have fun! Tenor is the ****.
