i had what i thought was my period in the first trimester, and even into the first couple weeks of my second. i had irregular periods so i never knew i was pregnant until i was about 20 weeks. i think it might have been from (tmi warning) having sex still? i would miss a month and that was normal, so when i missed a month here or there i never suspected, because i would have period-like symptoms (some cramping, light spotting) here or there. anyhow, after i found out i had a great pregnancy aside from one instance of preterm labor brought on by a uti and i had an emergency cesarean at the end, which i wasnt thrilled about, but he got here fine, healthy and happy a whole week late! there is also implantation bleeding to consider. it could be anything. good luck!

Yes, you can.
My mother had her period throughout all three of her pregnancies; in fact the first time she didn't even know she was pregnant until she went into labor, because it was the 60s and women's health care was almost unheard of and she assumed, like most it appears, that as long as she had her period she couldn't be pregnant. She was wrong and she had a daughter to prove it.

YES you can!!!!!!!! I had my period with my first son till the 3rd month and it was on time and everything. I didn't know I was pregnant until I passed out and was took to the doctor and they done blood work. I couldn't believe I was pregnant and still having a period. My doctor told me that it does happen to some people and I was one of them.

With my second child i had my periods till about half way through my pregnancy. I thought something was wrong but the doctor said it is normal and it depends and each persons hormones. If you are still concerned go and speak to your local GP.

Well, I think the majority of women don't bleed. However, I have heard of implantation bleeding as well as maybe blood vessels bursting while in labor. But no, you wouldn't have regular "periods". If you are still pregnant, a HPT would still be positive because the hormone HcG would be detected.
Good luck and hope I answered your question.....

No. You can't. Menstruation is the shedding of the uterine lining, which is impossible during pregnancy.
Bleeding, while common, is not normal, although some women experience it.
If it is heavy or accompanied by cramping, see your doctor.
